John Bryan, IMPROV expert and Jacksonville Chamber leader, will facilitate a dynamic and fun session on using IMPROV as a powerful technique that helps coaches learn to stay 100% present, follow together with your clients, and explore more deeply.  Like IMPROV, in coaching there is no script. Improv builds the skill of “dancing in the moment” with the client and how to go with what the client presents.   When your coaching client “throws a move,” IMPROV teaches us how to go with it fluidly and keep the rhythm of the interaction intact.

 Meet John Bryan, your presenter and facilitator

John is the Director of the JAX Chamber Councils. Over one thousand Chamber members participate in these ten organizations.As CEO of Improv! Corporate Workshops, he provides corporate training using improv comedy techniques.  

John has worked as a business consultant for over twenty years in process management, business strategy and organizational development. Past employers include IBM, Citibank and Merrill Lynch. 

He co-founded and chaired Florida’s Small Business Resource Network and is past chair of WJCT public broadcasting’s Community Advisory Board. John holds a BS in Literature from Dartmouth College, an MBA from Stanford University and an MS in Quality Management from the University of Miami.
